Role Description and Purpose

Ixom Watercare is looking to hire a talented and growth oriented individual to provide technical engineering support to customers and employees for Ixom Watercare products. Streamline and document the technical support process and gain efficiency by leveraging equipment knowledge.

***Position is based in Dickinson, ND - Relocation Assistance Available - Office based work, remote 1 day per week***

Key Roles and Accountability

Ixom Watercare Growth:

· Ensure comprehensive understand of products and equipment, sharing information with the Sales & Support team to enhance their ability to speak about and in turn sell our product offerings.

· Communicate regularly with other team members to support future business development through understanding customers’ current and future needs and challenges to share ideas, solutions and best practices.

Engineering Support:

· Provide Engineering support for existing products.

· Coordinating and preforming complex troubleshooting of customer technical issues. Escalating repeated issues to senior engineers as needed to improve on recurring customer concerns.

· Capture and document standard operating procedures for understanding and troubleshooting equipment.

· Assist the engineering department with hands-on-tasks occasionally.

· Support and assist with field crew questions regarding product installation and operation.

· Attend pre and post trip meetings with field crews, customer service representatives, and Engineering team as needed/requested.

Customer Support:

· Maintain and support relationships of existing customer by handling technical support issues via phone calls, email, or other communication means.

· Displaying a positive helpful attitude when working with customers and other team members.

Safety

· Practicing safe work habits, wearing PPE as needed when working in the shop or office.

· Keeping customers safety in mind when troubleshooting equipment.

· Completing assigned safety training.

Operating Environment / Physical Requirements

· Majority of time will be spent in an office environment

· Require activities include sitting, reaching, bending, frequent use of hands and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds

Critical Experience and Qualifications

Associates or higher degree in an engineering discipline along with 2+ years of experience in technical discipline. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.

Technical aptitude and ability to articulate instructions clearly

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical details to customers, other employees, outside engineers and sales people.

Preferred Experiences

Knowledge and experience with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic equipment.

2+ years in a customer service role

2+ year of experience in an engineering or engineering support role.

2+ years’ experience using Microsoft office products including outlook, excel, teams and word.

Experience in water treatment technologies

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Associate (Preferred)
